Do you have experience in marketing and communications?

Would you like to get more involved in the Morris Chapter? If so, the Marketing and Communications Committee needs your help. Not only are we looking for someone to lead the committee and serve as VP on our board, we also need people to help spread the word about our meetings and wonderful events. Here’s your opportunity

If you’re a member of the Morris Chapter of NJAWBO, we’ve got a great opportunity for you! Everyone knows that the best way to derive benefits from an organization is to become actively involved. Well, we’ve developed a new way for you to help out with all the great work the chapter is doing.

When you volunteer with the Morris Chapter, there are many areas where you can contribute, and at different levels - from one-day tasks to short term projects and, yes, longer commitments. Whatever time you can volunteer, we have a spot for you.

How can you start? First, take a look at the different areas above and decide what interests you. Then, send an email to volunteer@morrisnjawbo.org with the following info:

1. The areas you are interested in helping with.
2. The specific expertise you can share with NJAWBO.
3. The level you are interested in - one-day, short-term, committee, chairperson, or Board member.
4. The amount of time you can contribute - 1 hour once in a while, 1 to 2 hours per month, 3 or more hours per month.

Or, come to one of our breakfast or lunch meetings and fill out a volunteer form. We’ll be keeping a list of volunteers and placing them in projects or on committees as needed. If you’re not sure where you might fit in, just let us know you are interested and we’ll help you decide.
