Important News from
Lynne Delcalzo
Chapter Vice President of Public Policy

Greetings Fellow Morris Members. I’d like to call your attention to the recent email sent to membership from Mary Adelman, the State VP of Public Policy. Adelman wants to alert members about the recently passed Small Business Jobs & Credit Act of 2010. Mary’s alert is full of useful information that can impact your own business. My own small business should realize a tax savings on the self-employment tax of over $2,000 for this year. I urge you to read Mary’s Action Alert and even print it and provide it to your tax preparer when you hand over your tax information.

As we approach the last quarter of 2010, this is a good time to do some tax planning. The NJAWBO membership is full of qualified tax professionals, CPAs, and financial consultants. Check out the online directory and find one that suits your needs and budget.

Thank you to Mary Adelman for providing this useful information. As always, those of us representing the NJAWBO membership in legislative and public policy issues want to hear from you. If you’re particularly interested in an issue relevant to business, let us know. If we don’t have the answers, we’ll find them for you.

Best Regards for continued success,
Lynne Delcalzo,
VP Public Policy, Morris Chapter,
