Meet Our Committees!

One of the best ways to increase the benefits of your membership is to get involved. Joining one of the Morris chapter’s many committees can do just that. Each committee position works directly under and with the support of the Board Vice President of that area so while autonomy is encouraged you will not be out there alone.

What our Committees Do


Corporate Relations

Secure and maintain corporate and small business sponsorships, at the Partner, Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Sterling levels, and secure member participation in the Advertising booklet and Link-Me programs.

Membership

Collect and organize attendance data at events & meetings. Manage and communicate with the Board and Chapter regarding new members, prospects, memberships renewals, affiliate partner attendance, etc. Coordinate and manage production of program folders and new-member folders and handouts.

Programming

The Education committee endeavors to identify current issues that impact our members. We then work in conjunction with both our members and outside resources to bring appropriate presentations and programs to the group. Programs are developed with the Programs Committee and can be either breakfast/luncheon in format or as stand alone evening/dinner or weekend presentations.

Marketing

Create & send broadcast email, update Constant Contact database, provide State & Chapter announcements to meeting facilitators and webmaster. Create copy & graphic direction for events through brochures, postcards, e-cards, etc. Write copy for press releases, website updates.

Communications

The communications committee handles all internal and external communications for the chapter. These include internal communications through e-mail blasts and newsletters, social media including the LinkedIn and Facebook pages, the directory and external communications through the website, articles for the Bottom Line statewide publications and website, press releases and publicity of all events, photography and video.
